FAQ

Here you can find the answers to frequently asked questions by our customers.

Do I need a HubSpot account?

-

Yes, you need a HubSpot account.

Please check on each theme's requirements or compatible plans before downloading.

How can I view "Theme Options"?

+
Navigate to Marketing > Website > Website Pages and choose a page to edit. On Edit page screen, switch to Theme tab and then click Edit theme settings button.

I created a child theme and cloned everything from the parent theme to the child theme, will updating the theme affect the child theme as well?

+

Not exactly, a file in the same relative path of a child theme will overwrite the equivalent file from the parent theme. What this translates to is that, even after updating the parent theme, cloned files in the child theme will not be affected till they are manually updated to match the files in the parent theme.

How can I change my page template?

+

There are a few instances where you may need to change the theme or template used on your existing pages.

You can change the template by following the steps here:

  1. Open the page where you want to change the template on
  2. On your page editor, click on the Settings dropdown menu
  3. Click Template
  4. Under Template, click on Use different template
  5. Choose which theme you want to use on the page.
  6. You will be shown a Preview of what it looks like after choosing the new theme.
If all looks good, click Use Template
